Job summary

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Care Partner/Nursing Assistant to support seniors in daily living activities and provide compassionate care. You will review care plans, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, and routine tasks while maintaining dignity and safety.

Ideal candidates have experience in elderly care, strong communication, and a commitment to quality service. This on-site role offers health benefits, meal programs, and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with elderly in residential or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to take blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature and O2 stats.
• Must enjoy interacting with seniors.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, their families, and team members.
• Must read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
• Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to state licensure.
• Must maintain CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s credentials.
• Must maintain continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand resident service plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, ambulation).
• Engage residents in conversation and socialization during personal care.
• Observe residents and report changes to licensed nurse or supervisor.
• Complete incident reports and accurate documentation.
• Assist with resident mealtimes.
• Make beds and tidy apartments.
• Turn down beds and change linens as needed.
• Maintain clothing and closet organization.
• Assist in cleaning mobility aids and equipment.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
