Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician at Oakmont of Redding to supervise and assist in administering medications to residents, while providing direct personal care and encouraging resident participation in activities.

The role requires coordination with pharmacy and physicians, attention to privacy, and teamwork with multiple departments. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected; LVN is a plus, with possible state-mandated training.

Formación

• One year of medication assistance experience preferred at RCFE.
• State-required training/certification may be required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Ability to interact with residents, families, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
