Job summary

Greater Good Health in Billings, MT is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team. You’ll partner with Nurse Practitioners to provide holistic, high-touch care for a panel of senior patients, ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

You’ll perform vitals, screenings, rooming patients, assist with visits, coordinate referrals, and support lab and exam room operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license.
• 3+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Primary Care experience is a plus.
• 1+ year of Phlebotomy experience (preferred).
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (Preferred).
• 6+ months of laboratory experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical care and support patient care activities.
• Engage and manage patient panels with the Nurse Practitioner.
• Room patients promptly and assist in maintaining a timely schedule.
• Take vitals, perform screenings, record histories, and prepare patients for examination.
• Facilitate referrals and coordinate patient care after visits as needed.
• Promote clinical and safety standards to drive high-quality care.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Under Provider guidance, perform visits such as vaccinations and procedures (e.g., ABI, spirometry, EKGs).
• Oversee laboratory activities including drawing blood and preparing specimens.
