Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Under supervision, you will administer medications and treatments, document interactions, and participate in an interdisciplinary care team to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care.

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN license. Prior IV therapy experience and CEU requirements may apply based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license with state board or multi-state licensure privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, meds, behavior, activity, and diet.
• Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality; work with interdisciplinary care team.
