Happier At Home – Northeast Iowa is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors stay independent and connected at home. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and support families with a caring presence.

Starting pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and flexible scheduling. Join a supportive team dedicated to safer, happier lives for seniors in the Northeast Iowa region.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience required.

Responsabilités

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Maintain documentation and communication with the care team.
