Job summary

Pilot Butte Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain residents' rooms and common areas, following cleaning schedules and coordinating with nursing services.

You will help create a home-like environment, lift and transport supplies, disinfect equipment, and communicate with residents and staff. English proficiency and compassion for seniors are required.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
