Job summary

Villa At Borgess Place seeks an Administrator to lead the facility, serving as director and community representative with ultimate responsibility for operations, profitability, patient care and business decisions.

The role requires strong time and stress management, a calm professional demeanor, and a deep understanding of both clinical and business aspects of running a long-term care nursing facility. This is a full-time, on-site role in Kalamazoo, MI.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state where the facility is located.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a leader in a Skilled Nursing Facility required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and develop direct reports, modeling leadership and professionalism.
• Manage day-to-day operations and budgets to meet long-term goals.
• Develop and manage facility budget and ensure ROI and quality resident care.
• Oversee census development, AR, NOI, and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and implement a solid business plan.
• Review plans with department heads quarterly and manage staff allocation.
• Oversee resident placement and ensure financial eligibility.
• Review AR collections and support a QAPI program.
• Handle employee concerns with HR and enforce policies.
• Review payroll and time records and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and safety programs are effective.
• Enforce reporting requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
