Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to a supportive, caring environment and help enhance resident experiences.

Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, serving meals according to dietary needs, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and following food safety guidelines while delivering quality customer service. Starting pay is USD $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state/county law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
