Nurse Next Door is seeking a Caregiver/Companion to help seniors stay in their homes safely in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. You will provide hands-on care, companionship, and assist with daily tasks while promoting independence and dignity.

The role requires compassion, reliable transportation, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and families. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Training in human development, interpersonal relationships, nutrition, shopping, storage, cleanliness and safety.
• Clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Hands-on caregiving and assistance with daily activities.
• Provides companionship through reading, conversation, and listening.
• Participates in recreational activities for social and sensory stimulation.
• Assists client with phone calls and letter writing.
• Maintains a safe home environment for the client.
• Accompanies client on walks, trips, and appointments.
• Provides emotional support and promotes well-being.
• May prepare meals and perform light housework.
