Visiting Angels of Evansville is seeking a compassionate Companion Caregiver to support elderly clients in the Evansville area, including Chandler and surrounding communities.

You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, and companionship to help clients stay safely in their homes. The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and reliable, ongoing assistance with daily activities and health needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent time-management skills
Reliable transportation to client visits
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with basic housekeeping and cooking tasks
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Willingness to comply with health and safety standards

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Manage light housekeeping tasks for clients.
Encourage exercise and fitness activities.
Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on schedule.
Assist with shopping and meal planning/preparation.
Support mobility and accompany clients to appointments/activities.
