Visiting Angels of Boise is hiring caregivers to serve our treasured clients across the local area with flexible schedules, competitive wages, and opportunities for growth. As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll support clients with daily activities and wellness under tailored care plans, enriching their quality of life in a trusted home setting.

You will provide personal care, help with mobility, plan meals, assist with light housekeeping, and accompany clients on errands.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
First Aid and emergency response training provided if needed.
Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
Comfort with housekeeping and cooking within dietary constraints.
Willingness to comply with state and office health/safety standards.
Compassion, understanding, and desire to brighten each client’s day.

Responsibilities

Helping clients with personal care and hygiene.

Planning and preparing meals with clients.

Senior Care Assistant Job Requirements:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
