Visiting Angels of Boise is seeking caring individuals to join our local team as At Home Caregivers. You will support clients in Boise and surrounding areas with personal care, meal planning, light housekeeping, and companionship, helping maintain independence in their own homes.

The role offers flexible schedules, opportunities for advanced training, and benefits including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, weekly pay, and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical activity or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Respond quickly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications on schedule.
• Assist with mobility and errands as needed.

Role

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks

• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
