Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions seeks Resident Care Team Members/Personal Care Aides for Deerfield Ridge in Boone, NC. This full-time role supports residents with ADLs, meals, and activities in a cutting-edge assisted living/memory care community. Navion offers an 80-hour PCA training and hires for all shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain 80-hour PCA training certificate; Navion provides training.
• Prior experience with seniors is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Demonstrates good judgment, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility and incontinence care.
• Prepare residents for meals and activities; assist in dining room as needed.
• Respond to resident emergency call system promptly.
• Observe, document and report changes in residents' condition to the coordinator.
• Maintain required care documentation per state regulations and Navion policies.
• Communicate with residents and families in a polite, professional manner.
• Transport residents when required and support mobility as needed.
