Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing home administration, public health, gerontology, nursing, or related field.
• Current California Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) License required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a single-site NHA or 3 years in a multi-site NHA role.
• Proven success in SNF operations, compliance, and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, goals, and strategies that align with mission and needs.
• Manages day-to-day SNF operations ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of care.
• Leads quality improvement programs and regulatory initiatives for compliance.
• Ensures readiness for audits, surveys, and inspections with documentation and service quality oversight.
• Maintains knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rules and accreditation standards.
• Trains staff on policies and procedures and supports budget development and variance reporting.
