The role involves encouraging participation, maintaining activity records, and helping with seasonal activities and assessments, while coordinating with other departments to ensure a cohesive activity program for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English; ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain records relating to activities and complete paperwork on time.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment.
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.
