Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to assist cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This full-time role at Parkwest Medical Center focuses on duties such as catheterization and hemodynamic calculations.

Ideal candidates will have at least six months of relevant experience and necessary certifications as a CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or equivalent, along with BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in invasive cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Education clinical experience for certification and/or licensure is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Resolve complex patient management and physician issues.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and equipment quality control.
• Train new employees and students.
• Calculate hemodynamic data during catheterization.

Skills

Clinical expertise

Cardiac anatomy and physiology

Proficient in patient assessment

IABP, stents, DCA, complex PTCA's

Sterile technique

Education

Current registration as RCIS or RCES
