Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison to act as a scientific expert and strategic partner in Medical Affairs, focusing on cardiometabolic and orphan lung diseases. The role is field-based with up to 50% travel within the North Region.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5+ years in Medical Affairs, strong cardiology expertise, and outstanding communication skills to educate stakeholders and inform development strategies.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Medical Affairs or related therapeutic areas.
• Cardiology/heart failure expertise preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and academic centers.
• Delivering medical education on company products and disease states.
• Providing clinical insights to inform medical and clinical development strategies.
• Leading advisory boards.
• Supporting research initiatives and investigator collaborations.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with commercial, clinical research, and other teams.
