Qualifications

• Registry through CCI or ARDMS.
• Training/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Echo Sonographer IV; Registered Sonographer with +1 (2nd registry or Bachelor's/Master's, multiple credentials, and/or ACS credential, and/or FASE).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication. Basic proficiency with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams following protocols and report results.
• Complete clerical tasks; ensure timely reporting and protect patient privacy.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, and staff; suggest policy improvements.
• Enhance teamwork, mentor others, and participate in on‑call coverage as needed.
• Maintain clean work areas and infection control; manage lab opening/closing.
• Identify learning needs, attend meetings, and suggest efficient techniques.
