Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a qualified echocardiography professional to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound studies at our Weymouth facility. The role requires proficiency with M-Mode, real-time imaging, Doppler and color flow mapping, and accurate documentation within the EMR.

Candidate should have an accredited echocardiography program and ARDMS/CCI certification as appropriate. This is a part-time, on-site position with responsibilities spanning study performance,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year Echocardiography accredited program including technical and clinical training, culminating in an associate degree or higher.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Licensure/certification requirements include RDCS or RCS as specified.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete echocardiography studies including M-Mode, real-time, color flow mapping and Doppler.
• Obtain permanent records and document exams in EMR; retrieve patient info and prior studies.
• Contribute to final diagnostic impression; provide preliminary interpretation to physician.
• Store daily examinations and ensure studies download to GE server.
• Utilize GE reading station and Epic EMR; communicate findings to inpatients as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and follow MD notification of red values.
