Job summary

University of California, Irvine (UCI Health) seeks a Sr. Ultrasound Technologist capable of performing comprehensive cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures including M-mode, 2D/3D, Doppler, and transesophageal echo. You will travel between cardiology off-sites, rotate shifts, and may be on-call after hours.

Training fellows and students is also part of the role. The candidate should have ARDMS/CCI certification, at least two years of cardiac ultrasound experience, and excellent English

Qualifications

• Two years of cardiac ultrasound experience.
• Two years experience in adult echocardiology.
• A.R.D.M.S. and/or CCI certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to regularly travel locally to Ambulatory Practice off-site locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full range of cardiac diagnostic ultrasound procedures on adult and pediatric patients.
• Prepare and position patients, operate echo systems, and tailor exams to findings.
• Assist in training fellows and students as assigned and travel between cardiology off-sites.
