Job summary

Swedish Health Services DBA Swedish Medical Group is seeking a Senior Cardiac Device Technician for our Heart and Vascular clinic in the Seattle area. The role involves interrogation and assessment of implanted cardiac devices and managing remote transmissions, in collaboration with clinic RNs and supervising physicians.

On-call, day shift schedule; the position requires a Bachelor's degree in a health/science field, BLS certification, and 3 years of cardiovascular tech experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or science related field or equivalent education/experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate and assess implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders).
• Manage remote transmissions and data in the device clinic.
• Collaborate with device clinic RN staff and supervising implanting physicians.

Job description:

The Senior Device Tech works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff and office staff to effectively, efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician, and/or mid-level providers. Duties and responsibilities will include interrogation and assessment of implantable cardiac devices which include pacemakers, defibrillators and implantable loop recorders, as well as management of remote transmissions. The senior device technician will work closely with device clinic RN's and will be under the clinical supervision of the implanting physicians.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or science related fieldor equivalent educ/experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Associationupon hire.
• 3 yearsof previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS).
• Completion of ATI training.
