Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Cardiac Device Technician to join the Heart and Vascular team in the Seattle area. You will perform interrogation and assessment of pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders, and manage remote transmissions under physician supervision in a busy outpatient clinic.

Qualified candidates have a BS in health or science, current BLS, and 3 years as a Cardiovascular Technologist; CVT or CCDS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health or science related field or equivalent educ/experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate and assess implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders).
• Manage remote transmissions for device clinics.
• Work under clinical supervision with device clinic RN's and implanting physicians.
