Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Cardiac Device Technician for the Heart and Vascular, Arrhythmia & Device Clinic. You will monitor and review pacemaker and defibrillator data, perform device checks, and coordinate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care.

This role requires 3+ years as a Cardiovascular Technologist, a health/science degree, and a background in cardiovascular care. Travel to Edmonds, Ballard and Issaquah may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
• Experience with medical monitoring technology and programming devices (pacemakers, defibrillators).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Health or science related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review device rhythms, rates and battery life in-clinic and remotely.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to adjust devices and determine best practices from device data.
• Educate patients on their implanted devices post-implantation.
