Job summary

Balchem is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex capital projects across its manufacturing network, focusing on capacity expansion, process improvement, safety, quality and compliance in food and ingredient environments. You’ll provide end-to-end leadership from concept to handover, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, R&D, procurement, and external partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with knowledge of process design, controls, PM, mechanical design and construction methods.
• 7+ years of experience in project management, scheduling, plant operations and process control equipment.
• Experience leading large capital projects ($2–10M+).
• Strong verbal and written communication across executives, engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capital projects across Balchem’s manufacturing network.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, budget, and compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional scope, reviews and stakeholders.
• Develop budgets, cost estimates, and approvals, and prepare SOPs.
• Oversee contractors, engineers, and suppliers; ensure on-time delivery.
