Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex capital projects across its manufacturing network, focusing on capacity expansion, process improvement, safety, quality, and compliance in food and ingredient environments. You will provide end-to-end leadership from concept through start-up and handover to Operations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 7 years (10 years ideal) of project management and scheduling experience.
• Experience leading large capital projects ($2–10M+).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project or Primavera desirable.
• Travel to Balchem locations is expected; ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional governance, schedule reviews, and budget tracking.
• Define scope, budgeting, procurement, construction, and handover to Operations.
• Coordinate design reviews and supervise contractors and engineers.
• Prepare reports, cost estimates, and capital approvals.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across projects.
