Job summary

The University of Iowa seeks an Associate Director, E&A Project Mgmt, to lead capital project delivery across a large academic medical center. This role ensures designs meet UI Health Care standards, budgets, schedules and scope with staff oversight and mentorship.

Responsibilities include design/contract management, coordination, budget oversight, stakeholder engagement and leadership, aligning investments with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design management: approve final design process, budget, schedule and contract management, provide guidance on design documents.
• Contracts management: review/approve contracts and change orders, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordination: promote open communication and staff development, mentor teams.
• Budget management: set priorities, allocate resources, contribute to budget processes and accounting controls.
• Human Resources: supervise staff, conduct performance evaluations, mentor and train.
• Leadership: drive high performance and engagement across units.
