Job summary

Allianz Life seeks an experienced actuary to support its capital management function. The role involves developing robust projection models, advising senior leaders, and partnering with finance, risk and investment teams to optimize capital and meet regulatory and rating agency requirements.

The candidate will collaborate with executive leadership, CRO, and other partners to drive capital efficiency and ensure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and strategic growth plans.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in actuarial field focusing on capital, risk or financial modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• ASA designation is required; working toward FSA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain capital reporting for regulatory requirements and rating agencies.
• Analyze and manage capital impacts of corporate strategies and changes.
• Advise senior leadership on capital efficiency and optimization opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional capital projects with finance, risk, AIM, tax and accounting teams.
• Develop and govern capital projection models for internal and external reporting.
• Improve capital processes, including data integration and automation.
• Present capital analysis and actuarial memoranda to executives.
• Collaborate with enterprise risk teams on stress testing and scenario modeling.
