Job summary

Meta seeks a Performance & Capacity Engineer to lead software systems and process design for capacity planning optimization. You will own end-to-end capacity planning for Meta's infrastructure, partnering with engineering teams and business stakeholders to drive scalable, ROI-driven solutions.

You will build and guide software-driven models, lead critical engineering efforts, and shape strategy at the intersection of hardware, software, and product goals across Meta's global platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years in Performance, Capacity, or software engineering.
Proficient in Python, C++, and designing large-scale software systems.
Experience leading large engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
Background in large-scale infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Own infrastructure capacity planning for Meta's portfolio.
Lead and partner across hardware, software, and business teams.
Design scalable software systems for capacity planning and optimization.
Guide engineers and non-technical contributors to effective solutions.
Collaborate with Finance to balance cost efficiency with technical goals.
