Job summary

Day & Zimmermann is seeking a Manager, Corrective Action & Continuous Improvement to lead the enterprise CAP program, drive cross-functional investigations, and ensure sustainable improvements across the business.

You will coordinate audits, develop dashboards and KPIs, mentor leaders, and partner with regulators and customers to close findings and elevate CAP maturity within a highly regulated, industrial environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline is required; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • Seven+ years of progressive experience in quality assurance, CAPA, or quality management systems in regulated industries.
  • Three+ years in leadership roles managing Corrective Action Programs or substantial components thereof.
  • Professional certification such as CMQ/OE, CQA, CQE, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution and administration of the enterprise Corrective Action Program in alignment with the strategy and governance framework.
  • Lead complex cross‑functional investigations using advanced problem‑solving methodologies.
  • Manage enterprise CAP performance monitoring and program analytics with dashboards and KPIs.
  • Lead CAP matters from audits and regulatory findings, ensuring timely, sustainable resolutions.
  • Lead CAP strategy implementation and maturity roadmap across the enterprise.
  • Mentor leaders and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
