Job summary

Apple, Inc. seeks an expert Modeling & Simulation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-throughput simulation frameworks that generate large volumes of synthetic imagery from sensor to lens.

You will help model camera systems and simulate imaging performance for next-generation hardware. The ideal candidate has a strong background in optics, physics, and electrical engineering, with experience in computational imaging and managing projects in ambiguous spaces.

Qualifications

• BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Programming experience in Python, C, C or Matlab.
• Experience with optics imaging system design, optical design, computational imaging, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput simulation frameworks to generate large volumes of synthetic imagery from sensor to lens.
• Build and refine models of camera systems to simulate real-world imaging performance for Apple products.
