Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking a Senior Calypso Java Developer/Consultant to design, customize, and extend Calypso solutions, develop APIs, and drive system integrations for financial platforms.

You will deploy and support cloud-based enterprise apps, build CI/CD pipelines, and work with Java, Calypso API, SQL, and data modeling.

Remote work is permitted, but candidate must be able to work Mountain Time (8 AM–4 PM).

Qualifications

• Broad Calypso experience with API customization and integration.
• Strong Java development background and financial domain knowledge.
• Experience with cloud deployments and modern CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and extend Calypso modules across FX, FX Options, interest rates, commodities, credit derivatives, market risk, and credit risk.
• Develop and integrate solutions using Calypso API, Java REST APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate Calypso with market platforms and core financial systems (DTCC, Bloomberg, SWIFT, etc.).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Terraform.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS/Azure cloud environments and data lake platforms.
• Work with Java, JBoss, MQ, ETL, SQL, RDBMS, and data modeling.
