Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Calypso Accounting Business Analyst in New York to bridge Finance, Operations, and Technology. You will lead accounting requirements, configure Calypso modules, and ensure compliant reporting across multiple asset classes.

The role demands senior BA skills, deep Calypso knowledge, and collaboration with Front-to-Back Office teams in a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Business Analysis experience in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Hands-on expertise in Calypso Accounting and Accounting Reporting.
• Understanding of accounting events, rules, reporting, and reconciliation in Calypso.
• Experience documenting requirements, functional specs, processes and gap analyses.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, regulatory initiatives, and accounting transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and accounting requirements from Finance, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.
• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Calypso Accounting and Accounting Reporting solutions.
• Partner with Finance teams to ensure accounting treatments and reporting align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform gap analyses, impact assessments, and solution design for new initiatives and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and configuration teams.
