Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is hiring for a full-time cafeteria team member in The Dalles, OR. You will ensure smooth cafeteria operations, assist in meal preparation, stock supplies, and handle cash transactions with customers.

Qualifications include SERV Safe and OFH certifications, a valid driver's license, and preference for HS diploma or higher with related experience. The role is full-time, day shift, in Nutritional Services.

Formación

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• Two years' relevant experience: Preferred
• SERV Safe certification or equivalent: Required in OR
• Oregon Food Handler (OFH): Required
• Driver's License (DL): Required

Responsabilidades

• Performs proper cash register techniques and functions (i.e. charging and cash handling). Greets customers and offers assistance.
• Maintains proper care and handling of equipment. Uses correct serving utensils. Ensures set-up is completed prior to cafeteria opening for service.
• Maintains cleanliness of all cafeteria or dining room areas and ensures quality, presentation, and temperature of all cafeteria food items.
• Prepares meals using standardized recipes and serves according to dietary instruction using correct portion control.
• Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements as outlined by local administration, Adventist Health (AH), The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and all other regulatory agencies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
