Job summary

Exacta is seeking a CAD Survey Tech – Residential Land Surveying to join our Cleveland team. Under the supervision of the Survey Drafting Manager, you will review residential survey work, coach drafters, and coordinate with Professional Land Surveyors on complex boundary matters.

You will support accurate and timely survey preparation across internal and outsourced drafting teams and assist field crews with calculations and boundary data as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of surveying drafting or checking experience.
• Applied CAD experience in survey environments.
• Ability to coach staff and ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review complex residential survey work for accuracy and consistency.
• Coach and mentor drafting staff to improve skills.
• Coordinate with Professional Land Surveyors on boundary matters.
• Provide technical guidance on survey, boundary, and drafting issues.
• Prepare files for PLS review and approval.
• Support field crews with calculations and boundary information.
• Attend weekly performance meetings to review KPIs.
