Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group seeks a remote, full-time design engineer to develop engineered construction plans using AutoCAD and 3D modeling, and to create as-built drawings from various sources. You will produce foundation location plans with precise annotations and maintain organized drawing packages for review.

You will update drawings per directions from Design Coordinators and Project Engineers, ensuring CAD standards compliance and solid communication across the project team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' experience in design skills, AutoCAD, Plant 3D or CADworx.
• Technical certificate in drafting or other technical skill preferred.
• Organized to stay on task and complete projects within budget.
• Detail oriented for producing a great quality package.
• Self-motivated for striving to build upon previous successes.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineered construction plans using advanced drafting and 3D modeling software.
• Create existing conditions drawings from as-builts, aerial imagery, field notes, and survey data.
• Produce foundation location plans with detailed annotations and dimensions.
• Set up drawing packages, including sheets, title blocks, notes, and details.
• Create and modify structural 3D models and plot drawings for engineering review.
• Update drawings based on direction from Design Coordinators and Project Engineers.
• Ensure compliance with ENE and client CAD standards.
• Maintain project base file structures and communicate updates across the project team.
