Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an Experienced CAD Operator to join our Land Development team in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will design and produce sets of plans, develop drawings using CAD software, and support project execution with strict adherence to standards.

You will work with a team to ensure on-time delivery of quality plans for diverse sites, monitor data integrity, and may supervise CAD staff while maintaining Kimley-Horn's procedures and practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in CAD/drafting for land development.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce sets of plans for land development projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential sites.
• Develop technical drawings using CAD software and ensure quality of drawings.
• Maintain drawing database and coordinate with staff to meet schedules and standards.
• Possibly supervise and train CAD staff and ensure adherence to Kimley-Horn procedures.
