Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a CAD Engineer to design, develop, and support CAD software and EDA tools for CMOS design and verification.

You will debug in-house and commercial EDA solutions in a production environment and develop P-cells, scripts, and automation for physical design and tapeout. You’ll collaborate with design, PI, and process teams to solve tool challenges and implement scalable layout methodologies aligned with PDK requirements, while documenting processes and training end

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years CAD/VLSI or related semiconductor engineering experience.
• Experience programming in SKILL/Skill++ (Cadence), Python or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support CAD software, EDA tools, flows for CMOS design/verification.
• Debug and support in-house and commercial EDA solutions in production.
• Develop P-cells, scripts, and automation for physical design and tapeout.
• Collaborate with design, PI, and process teams to solve tool challenges and implement scalable layout methods.
• Document processes and provide training and end-user support.
