Job summary

Metromont, located in Hiram, GA, seeks a Senior Project Drafter to design and prepare complete erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions for complex precast projects. You will lead project drafters, interface with engineers, and ensure CAD documents meet contract specs and project scope.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree with CAD coursework, 2+ years of drafting experience, and knowledge of Revit preferred.

Qualifications

Associate degree in design, architecture or related field with CAD coursework.
Knowledge of Revit preferred.
Minimum two years drafting experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct project drafters.
Design and prepare CAD erection drawings, shop tickets, and material requisitions.
Interface with staff to determine equipment and material needs.
Create plans, elevations, sections, and material requirements from drawings and specs.
Consult with engineers and PMs to resolve questions.
Revise CAD documents per scope changes.
Provide guidance on coordination between shop tickets and erection drawings.
Coordinate drafting work with engineers and architects.
Serve as a lead to drafters.
