Steelhead Productions in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Senior CAD Detailer to turn bold design intent into clear, buildable drawings that move from screen to shop floor. You will own drawings from concept through fabrication, coordinate with designers, project managers, and production, and produce CNC-ready files and field drawings.

This is an in-office, full-time role with a culture that values craftsmanship.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional CAD detailing experience in trade shows, events, fabrication, or architectural millwork.
• AutoCAD proficiency (current version) with fast, accurate output.
• Strong fabrication knowledge and hands-on understanding of build processes.
• Experience generating CNC-ready files and supporting shop floor needs.
• Ability to manage own work, meet deadlines, and prioritize with minimal oversight.
• Clear communicator and team player across design, project management, and production.
• Calm, solution-oriented mindset in fast-paced environments.
• Commitment to high standards of accuracy and craftsmanship.

At Steelhead, creativity doesn’t stop at the concept - it’s proven on the shop floor. We’re looking for aSenior CAD Detailerwho can take bold design intent and turn it into clean, buildable, fabrication-ready drawings that move seamlessly from screen to shop to show floor.

This role is for an experienced detailer who canindependently own drawings from concept through fabrication, understands how their work impacts production and install, and takes pride in sending files to the shop they’d personally stand behind.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the detailing process on complex trade show and experiential projects, from initial design intent through final build
• Translate creative concepts into accurate, efficient, fabrication-ready CAD drawings
• Produce detailed shop drawings, CNC-ready files, and field drawings that eliminate guesswork and rework
• Collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Production to align on scope, materials, methods, and timelines
• Support the shop and install teams with clear documentation and technical clarity
• Recommend materials, construction methods, and build strategies that improve efficiency and quality
• Serve as a trusted technical resource for build feasibility, detailing standards, and best practices
  

What You Bring:
