GFT is seeking a Revit Designer/Modeler for our Water team, ideally near one of our offices. Join a team focused on sustainable water management, treatment, and conveyance projects across North America.

Role involves creating Revit models, coordinating with multi-discipline teams, and supporting project managers with presentations and design reviews. Hybrid work options and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 10-15 years of experience with design and development of geotechnical deliverables including investigations, reports, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare three-dimensional models and renderings using Revit.
• Prepare and assemble design documents.
• Assist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.
• Complete Revit Project Setup.

What You Will Do:

GFT is seeking a Revit Designer/Modeler to fill a position within our Water team. Ideally, we would like someone who is close to one of our offices.

Joining the Water Business Line team at GFT means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. What you'll be challenged to do:

This represents a tremendous opportunity for a passionate professional to use their design background to assist project teams across North America on a wide array of municipal and industrial water and wastewater clients to meet their regulatory water quality needs, while working with a collaborative and supportive team.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for assigned projects with the ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and prioritize assignments while maintaining quality standards and accuracy.
• Collaborate on multi-discipline, multi-company projects.
• Prepare three-dimensional models and renderings using Revit
• Prepare and assemble design documents.
• Assist project managers with model presentation for project teams and client meetings.
• Complete Revit Project Setup.
• Download, review, and understand design drawings and models to accurately present and coordinate designs. Communicate design changes and issues with the Project Manager and the Design Team.
• Provide layouts for project structures including Treatment Plants, lift stations and pump stations from information provided by senior designers and Project Engineers.
• Ability to take direction and participate in quality reviews of work products.
• Generate Revit content to add to our growing library of Revit families.

Education | Experience:

What you will bring to our firm:

• * EXAMPLE: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• * EXAMPLE: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• * EXAMPLE: 10-15 years of experience with an emphasis in design and development of geotechnical deliverables including investigations, reports, drawings and specifications

What we prefer you bring:

• * EXAMPLE: Master's Degree with a Geotechnical focus is strongly preferred
• * EXAMPLE: Field experience with construction observation for bridge projects, highway projects, deep foundations, and sinkhole and landslide remediation projects
• * EXAMPLE: Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $XXX,000 - $XXX,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
