Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with 2D ASME Y14.5 drawing standards; GD&T preferred.
• Ability to build prototypes and perform basic experiments.
• Experience with mechanical design of power tools.
• Strong organization and communication skills; able to manage multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

• Execute product design of power tools as part of a product development team.
• Develops and refines concepts, prototype and/or specifications to solve challenges.
• Creates parts of moderate complexity using 3D CAD system and designs entire mechanical assembly.
• Design subassemblies & complex parts using CATIA V5.
• Apply GD&T to 2D drawings and set up BoM structures.
• Coordinate with vendors the design release for tooling.
