Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr CAD Designer to lead the CAD design process at our Lansdale, PA site. You will develop CAD standards, review drawings, and guide CAD engineers to ensure on-time, high-quality designs.

Expect collaboration with Electrical and Mechanical teams, design reviews, and ongoing process improvements. You will report to the leadership team and work a 9/80 schedule from Lansdale, focusing on mechanical layouts for moderately complex microwave assemblies and FAA-compliant

Qualifications

Three+ years of related experience.
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances and ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Generate mechanical layouts and new drawings with input from Electrical and Mechanical Engineers; incorporate engineering change orders involving complex design changes.
Liaison between Responsible Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for design layout.
Prepare parts lists.
Design with DFM and DFA in mind.
Manage the creation, revision and release of CAD models and drawings.
Collaborate in team meetings and activities.
Create mechanical layouts of moderately complex electronic assemblies, analyze data and recommend changes.
