Job summary

Bolton & Menk, Inc. seeks a Senior CAD Administrator-Autodesk to join our CAD Services team in southern Minnesota and Iowa. The role focuses on setup, training, and support for design staff using Autodesk Civil 3D.

You will develop templates, enforce production standards, and suggest tools to improve processes. Travel to project sites may be required; visa sponsorship is not offered for STEM OPT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in drafting or related field from an accredited college.
• At least 7 years of CAD design experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and hardware for printers/plotters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support design software systems (AutoCAD, Civil 3D), including implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of applications and hardware.
• Develop and enforce company-specific templates, workflows, and production standards to optimize efficiency.
• Provide training and technical guidance to staff on design software and procedures; serve as a resource for standardization committees.
• Research and recommend software tools to enhance design processes; apply intermediate programming skills (LISP, VBA, .NET).
• Assist with engineering technician duties, travel to project sites as needed, and uphold confidentiality and compliance standards.
