Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Manufacturing Technician to support onsite operations in Bingen, WA, performing cable builds, testing, and inspections as part of the Operations team. You will draft and follow work instructions, assist with cable design changes, use hand and power tools, and ensure documentation is completed according to procedures.

A High School diploma and 4+ years of related experience are required; IPC-620 training is preferred.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related work experience.
Knowledge of parts, materials and processes for electrical/electro-mechanical components.

Responsibilities

Builds, inspects, tests, and troubleshoots cable assemblies and harnesses.
Performs acceptance inspections of cables and wiring.
Drafts, reviews, and edits technical work instructions, checklists, quality documentation, and procedures related to cable fabrication.
Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of cable assemblies and related wiring.
Supports engineering with cable design changes, testing, data collection and documentation for ongoing product improvement.
Uses and maintains hand and/or power tools related to cable assembly work.
Reviews and completes business and required documentation.
