Job summary

Harbour Industries LLC, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, leads in high‑performance cable design and manufacturing. The candidate will develop cables per customer specs and provide technical support across sales, quality control, and customers.

Responsibilities include establishing customer engineer relationships, reviewing drawings for performance feasibility, and maintaining AS9100 document control. Strong RF design knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of RF cable design including impedance matching, attenuation, insertion loss, return loss, and shielding effectiveness.
• Experience designing RF coaxial, aerospace, or specialty cable products preferred.
• Comfortable managing multiple customer projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of DOE, statistical analysis, and electrical calculations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop cables based on customer requirements.
• Establish relationships with key engineers at customers.
• Review customer drawings to determine if performance characteristics are achievable.
• Create Harbour drawings.
• Review routers relating to new product builds and maintenance of existing products.
• Prepare and implement developmental plans when required.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing.
• Review cost estimations with cost considered.
• Evaluate new raw materials, methods and equipment.
• Prepare routers.
• Create purchasing specs as needed.
• Selection and installation of the appropriate equipment for data collection.
• Evaluate and verify the accuracy of test data, provide recommendations for improvement.
• Interface with customers' engineering personnel.
• Provide technical support to Account managers.
• Maintain document control per AS9100 requirements.
