Bowers Accountants & Advisors, Powered by CURRENT!, seeks a Senior Accountant to join our CAAS team in Watertown, NY. You will provide Senior Accountant–level accounting for assigned clients, including processing payables and receivables and other core accounting operations.

Required: BS in Accounting, minimum 5 years accounting experience with 2 years in supervision, proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office; excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience with 2 years in supervision.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred; strong MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage CAAS transactional staff responsibilities.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of CAAS transaction processing.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and GL accounts for clients.
• Manage month-end close for clients.
• Assist with development of financial budgets.
• Prepare and analyze financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing CAAS service proposals and participate in marketing events.
