Bowers Accountants & Advisors, Powered by CURRENT! in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our CAAS team and provide outsourced accounting services including payroll, payables/receivables, and financial reporting for assigned clients.

You will oversee CAAS transactional staff, manage monthly closes, and contribute to budgets and proposals while collaborating with a dynamic accounting group. Sponsorship restrictions apply, and we cannot hire candidates requiring sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Oversee and manage responsibilities of assigned CAAS transactional staff
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all transaction processing performed by CAAS staff
• Perform monthly accounting reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts for assigned clients
• Manage month-end close for assigned clients
• Assist with development of financial budgets
• Prepare and analyze financial reporting
• Assist in preparing proposals for CAAS services
• Participate in marketing events

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage assigned CAAS transaction staff
• Ensure accuracy of all CAAS transaction processing
• Perform monthly reconciliations of banks and GL accounts
• Manage month-end close for clients
• Assist with budgets and financial reporting
• Prepare proposals for CAAS services
• Support CAAS marketing events
• Collaborate with CAAS team on client deliverables
