Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. seeks a Senior Electronics Engineer to sustain C5ISR equipment on Army Watercraft and provide technical leadership across hardware, software, and firmware teams. Based in Newport News, VA, you will lead design, prototyping, testing, and documentation while coordinating with cross-functional groups.

Active Secret clearance is required, with frequent domestic travel to support vessels worldwide and ensure compliance with deployment requirements and vendor specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience with C5ISR sustainment for Army Watercraft assets.
• Experience supporting Army Watercraft System C5ISR Sustainment Branch (AWS-CSB).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support C5ISR systems and integration programs for Army watercraft.
• Lead design and development of complex electronic systems on vessels.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and optimization of circuits and systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers.
• Prepare design specs, test plans, and regulatory-compliant documentation.

Education

Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering/technical field (electrical preferred)

High School Diploma with 10+ years in related systems
