Job summary

Akira Technologies is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to support government projects in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on translating hardware architectures into deployable, SWaP-conscious solutions for C4ISR and sensor systems.

Travel up to 25% and active Top Secret clearance are required. The successful candidate will lead architecture, systems integration, and data-transfer planning, coordinating with engineers and government stakeholders to meet cybersecurity, platform, and

Qualifications

10+ years of architecture, systems engineering, or integration experience.
Strong C4ISR/CS4ISR experience.
Experience with sensor systems, onboard computing, embedded systems, or mission systems.
Experience designing solutions within SWaP constraints.
Strong understanding of systems integration, requirements, and technical compliance.

Responsibilities

Translate navigational sensor hardware architectures into integrated configurations.
Manage the sensor stack and onboard computing resources.
Develop and manage data-transfer architecture and planning with the Data Engineer.
Ensure solutions meet technical, cybersecurity, platform, and operational requirements.
Support integration across aviation platforms, ground vehicles, and handheld devices.
Identify technical risks and coordinate with engineering and government stakeholders.
Develop architecture documentation and support reviews, testing, and deployment.
Travel approximately 25%, including Hawaii and Colorado.
