Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Software Engineer to build advanced C++ software powering machine learning, computer vision, and 3D modeling applications. You will work with real-world data, large-scale geospatial datasets, and the latest research in AI, vision, and graphics.

You will collaborate with leadership to align product vision, maintain code in Git, and deploy/test on cloud platforms across Unix-like environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced tech environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience designing high-performance, scalable C++ systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement core machine-learning and computer-vision algorithms in C++.
• Work on inverse-procedural modeling with linear algebra, probability, and geometry.
• Apply cutting-edge ML/graphics research and collaborate with leadership.
• Use Git for version control and test code on cloud platforms.
• Deploy and test on large-scale geospatial data to generate 3D content.
